Features
1) Browse Video Recipes
1.1 Search for recipes based on different factors
Search by recipe name, ingredient, diet, country of origin, or high mutrient content.
1.2 See the nutritional breakdown of every recipe
On each recipe's page, click on 'nutrition' and then 'more nutritional info' for a full breakdown, including RDAs for applicable nutrients.
1.3 See the ingredients needed in recipes
On each recipe's page, see how much of each ingredient a recipe needs. Add the number of people you feed to your preferences and see how much of any ingredient you need for your family.
2) Browse through Mealplans
See all the mealplans created by others.
2.1 Save mealplans
Save mealplans by clicking on the 'save mealplan' button in each individual mealplan. It'll then be in your saved mealplans.
2.2 Add mealplans to your menu
On a mealplan's page, click 'add to menu' to add the mealplan to your menu. It won't replace any current recipes or micros, instead adding to them.
3) Generate Mealplans
3.1 Generate a week's worth of meals that fit your preferences
Add your preferences, then generate meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and / or drink) that fit your preferences.
3.2 Have yesterday's dinner for lunch today
When generating, an option will come up to have the same meal for lunch the next day.
4) Add straight to pending
The generator will generate recipes for you according to your preferences that will sit in your pending meals until you move them to your menu. But what if you want to add straight into this pending group?
In every recipe's individual page, click 'add to pending' and select the day you want to add the recipe to.
5) Add straight to your menu
On each recipe's individual page, click 'add to menu' and select the day you want to add the recipe to.
See all the ingredients you need to complete the week's meals, and their quantities, on the right hand side of your menu.
6) Save recipes and Mealplans
For Recipes, choose or create a new playlist to save your recipe into. Save recipes from and mealplans from their pages. Find them in your saved recipes and saved mealplans respectively.
7) Make sure your days in your Menu have their full RDA
5.1 Add additional ingredients (microboosters)
In your menu, to the right of 'microboosters' click to plus sign.
5.2 Make Flofee calculate the rest of your micros
In your menu, under 'RDA', click the 'Fill RDA' button to have Flofee add microboosters to that day to fill your RDA.
8) Create mealplans
From your menu, click on the button in the bottom right called 'add to mealplan' and choose which of your menu's days to create a mealplan out of.
Both recipes and microboosters will be added to the mealplan, which will be public and shareable.
9) Contribute to the database
9.1 Add your own video
Add video recipes from YouTube to the database.
9.2 Add someone else's video
If embedding is enabled, someone else's video can be added to the database.
9.4 edit videos
Videos that haven't been added by the author can be edited (in case ingredients or recipe steps are missing) on the recipe's page.
