The Marquesa is a very popular dessert in Venezuelan cuisine, it is also a very easy recipe to make and you will love the result, best of all, it does not need an oven, it is prepared based on Maria cookies and chocolate.
Ingredients:
400 g. Maria biscuit
300 g. chocolate for desserts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 lt. milk (900 ml. for the mixture and 100 to dilute the cornstarch)
200 ml. milk mixed with chocolate powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 egg yolks
120 g. of sugar
80 g. of butter
Chocolate chips to decorate
